Jurnal Venus, Volume 14, Number 1, March 2026, presents seven research articles addressing maritime operations, marine engineering, shipping safety, port services, crew management, and maritime human resource development. The articles examine the causes of diesel-generator blackout associated with fuel-rack malfunction, the implementation of crude oil washing in tank-cleaning operations, strategies for preventing delays in crew-change processes, and the contribution of mooring, pilotage, and tugging services to efficient vessel operations. Other studies discuss lifting-equipment safety in container-handling activities, the mental health of maritime cadets in the digital era, and efforts to prevent delays during ship-loading operations. Together, these studies provide practical and scholarly insights for improving maritime safety, operational reliability, port-service performance, crew management, and the quality of maritime transportation and education.
